Vidyullekha shuts up critics, issues clarification

Comedienne Vidyullekha Raman is turning out to be one of the most vocal artistes out there. Her words can be sheer delight.
Recently, she had posted a pic of hers and said, "When you are a female actor who predominantly does comedy, people are so quick to assume you can't look or feel sexy. Well, this is me saying “I can".
Predictably, this pic has got many to wonder if she wants to show off or is trying to bag a female lead's role. "Showing off? For a woman to embrace herself and love herself is showing off? I barely reply to such narrow minded thoughts but please don't embarrass yourself with your regressive thinking," Vidyu said, shutting up her critics.
On Wednesday, she further added, "To clarify: 1. Thankfully I am fully busy as a comedian. Hence not even thinking of doing a heroine role. 2. The point was to tell women to feel beautiful in whatever shape/colour they are. 3. To the 100's who found self confidence and assurance from the pics, keep at it girls!"
