As we had reported earlier, director Susi Ganesan will start shooting 'Thiruttu Payale 2' the sequel to his 2006 critically acclaimed super hit. The film produced by AGS Entertainments banner will have Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Amala Paul in lead roles.

The film was recently launched with a formal pooja. The cast and crew members were announced but the music director's name was missing. Now the makers seems to have finalized an experienced composer to take care of music for this flick.

Veteran music composer Vidyasagar hailed a 'Melody King' will be the music director of 'Thiruttu Payale 2'.

Speaking about his choice of music partner in a recent interview, Susi Ganesan said melodious music is lacking with the new young generation of music directors and his film required soulful music. That's why he opted for Vidyasagar given his vast experience and tremendous success ratio in the past. He has also confirmed that the film will have five songs and three out of them will be melodies.

It is worth recalling that Bharathwaj scored the music for 'Thiruttu Payale' directed by Susi and produced by AGS with a different set of cast members.
