Vidyasagar back on track

After a break, Vidyasagar, who gave us some of the evergreen chartbusters, is back. He is currently scoring music for some promising projects, including VijayÂs ÂKavalanÂ, KarthiÂs ÂSiruthai and Pa Vijay starrer ÂIlaignanÂ, scripted by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
For ÂIlaignanÂ, the music composer worked with symphony musicians in Budapest and completed the final mixing and recording in London. ÂIt was a different experience and my thanks go to the producer and directorÂ, he says.
Vidyasagar is thrilled to know the Chief MinisterÂs reaction to his efforts. ÂHe is a veteran who knows all trades of cinema. We would soon be playing the final version of the songs to himÂ, he says.
On ÂKavalanÂ, Vidyasagar says, ÂThe music is not typical stuff. Each number is different from the other. My music had a lot scope in the Vijay starrer which has a good dose of romanceÂ.
