Vidya Vasula Aham teaser: Interesting Couple

Recently, movies that resonate with the youth have been turning into blockbusters, even if their stories are somewhat conventional. Makers are confident that as long as a film connects with the younger audience, it is likely to succeed. The teaser of ‘Vidya Vasula Aham’ is a testament to this trend. Starring Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar, the movie is set to release directly on OTT platforms, despite having completed its shooting. The teaser, released recently, hints at the film belonging to the youth-centric category.

The teaser opens with Tanikella Bharani’s voiceover introducing a short story about the value of marriage. Shivani Rajasekhar portrays Vidya, who adamantly declares, “I don’t want any marriage,” while Rahul Vijay’s character Vasu asserts, “I’ll marry when I find the right person.” Dialogues like ‘It’s not difficult to impress girls, Master.. It’s difficult to understand them’ are likely to resonate well with the youth. Director Manikante Gelli has skilfully depicted the characters of Vidya and Vasu through their dialogues in the teaser.

The teaser further reveals the pressure Vasu faces from family and friends to get married, leading to his arranged marriage with Vidya. A humorous moment arises when Vidya questions Vasu’s drinking habits during a wedding ceremony, to which Vasu amusingly responds that he doesn’t drink. Manikant Gelli hints that ‘Vidya Vasula Aham’ will explore the complexities and obstacles in Vidya and Vasu’s marriage due to their egos. Rahul Vijay and Shivani Rajasekhar have previously shared screen space in two films, showcasing excellent chemistry and rapport, which seems to continue in ‘Vidya Vasula Aham’ as well. The teaser also suggests that actors like Avarasala Srinivas, Abhinaya, Srinivas Reddy, and Tanikella Bharani will play pivotal roles, although their characters have not been revealed yet. The movie’s release date is yet to be announced by Aaha.
