She is one actress who tends to be different from the rest. Having no starry airs, Vidya Balan prefers to stick to her ground, yet would try to give a change of performance in each film.

Vidya has gone out of her usual simple character to feature as a foul-mouthed seductress in Vishal Bhardwaj’s forthcoming production ‘Ishqiya’. The charming actress is said to have turned down a raunchy song, which was to be featured along with her co-stars Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi. The song “Dhano ki aankhon mein” is said to be a remake of a popular song from ‘Kitaab’ (1977). She felt that the song was too vulgar and politely refused to do it. When Vidya hesitatingly explained her inconvenience to Vishal and director Abhishek Chaubey, they said to have accepted with no qualms. Finally they decided to shoot the song with only the men and no lady decorating it...

She is daring enough to give hot scenes, but Vidya truly knows where to draw the line, we say.
