Vidya Balan found her own space in Bollwood with sheer talent and selection of roles. Mollywood rejoiced when the news came out that Vidya Balan is roped in to do the role of Madhavikutty (Kamaladas) in her biopic directed by Kamal.

A flashback is essential at this point. Vidya Balan is associating with Kamal for the second time. In 2003 a movie title Chakram` with Mohanlal in the lead and directed by Kamal was her debut movie. Due to some unanticipated developments Kamal had to quit the movie and it didn`t happen. Later the story was directed by the scriptwriter Lohitadas with Prithviraj and Meera Jasmine in lead roles. In fact Kamal canned some portions of the movie, but out of utter misfortune it didn`t take place and a label fell on the actress that she was not a lucky one.

In 2017, it is happening again with the actress and director. This time it is due to differences of opinion in the creative part that this has happened. Sources say that the actress opted out because when the shooting was about to be started something extra was added without consulting the actress. She had earlier approved a script and has signed the dotted lines after reading it. Another fact is that Vidya Balan usually has the habit of having elaborate discussions with the scriptwriter and the director to understand the character so that she could do justice to the character, but this didn`t happen here and the actress was annoyed about it.

There are also reports that Kamal`s stand against the Prime Minister and his policies didn`t go well with the actress. It is a known fact Vidya is part of government ads and initiatives.
