Vidya Balan meets Bengali cinema icon, Prosenjit

Bobby Jasoos' has brought back a flashback of Kahaani' for Vidya Balan. Kolkata, where Kahaani' was extensively shot, is very close to the actress. She not only learnt Bengali then, but also had got to know many people in Kolkata. And among them is Prosenjit, the biggest superstar of Bengali cinema.

Hence, when she visited Kolkata recently for the promotion of Bobby Jasoos', Vidya called Prosenjit and briefly met him during her visit. In fact, the two talented actors are good friends and they have been keeping in touch. So the actress despite her short stay managed to meet the noted Bengali star.

Confirmed a spokesperson, "Vidya was in Kolkata only for a day with things lined up back to back. However she was keen to meet Prosenjit, even if it was briefly." As a matter of fact, Vidya is in the last promotion leg for her film Bobby Jasoos'.

Directed by Samar Shaikh, produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha under their banner Born Free Entertainment and presented by Reliance Entertainment, Bobby Jasoos' releases on July 4th.
