Vidya Balan: I've greatest regard for Farhan Akhtar

The makers of ÂShaadi Ke Side/ Effects have pulled off a casting coup of sorts as they roped in Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar, two powerhouse performers who share screen-space for the very first time in this film.
As the film is a couple of days away from its nationwide release, Vidya who had the greatest time working with Farhan is all praise for her co-star, IÂve always liked the movies heÂs directed, and ones heÂs acted in. I have the greatest regard for him and his talents - writer, director, producer, actor and musician. When I learnt that he is part of SKSE, I was excited as the film required subtlety, and heÂs great at that.
Celebrating marriage as much as it celebrates its countless pitfalls, Farhan and Vidya reprise the iconic characters, now as husband and wife as they take up the impossible task of coping with each otherÂs fantasies and realities.
Balaji Motion Pictures and Pritish Nandy Communications ÂShaadi Ke Side/ EffectsÂ, directed by Saket Chaudhary, also stars Vir Das, Ram Kapoor, Purab Kohli, Ila Arun and several others. The film is slated to release on February 28.
