Talented and ace actor Vidya Balan was recently honoured with the Pride of Kerala Award from the World Malayalee Council. Excited and overjoyed Vidya took to twitter and shared a pic with a caption saying, "Proud to have received the Pride of Kerala award from the World Malayalee Council".

Vidya was last seen in 2015 Mohit Suri`s romantic movie 'Hamari Adhuri Kahaani' and will be soon seen in 'Te3n', that also features Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.
Vidya made her debut in Bollywood with 'Parineeta' for which she received accolades and was recognized in the industry. She made a place in the audience heart with movies like 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani'.
