Actress Vidya Balan is one of the top actresses in Bollywood and she has won the national award for her performance as Silk Smitha in Dirty Picture. She has been known for her performances in female centric films like Kahaani, Tumhari Sulu and many other movies.

Vidya Balan had recently made her debut in Tamil, acting as Thala Ajith's pair in the H Vinoth directed hit movie Ner Konda Paarvai. Though it was a cameo appearance, the performance of the actress was appreciated. In a recent interview, Vidya Balan opened up on the reason behind her late Tamil debut.

Vidya Balan said that initially she wanted to act in Tamil and several directors rejected her, and that one producer had spoke bad of her appearance and she can never forgive or forget him. Vidya Balan also made a shocking revelation that a Tamil director wanted to be with her in a room, and since she kept the door open, he left the room in 5 minutes.
