A few days back it was announced that director Manikandan's second film 'Kutramey Dhandanai' will be releasing in September. Now the makers have officially confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens on coming Friday through the new poster that mentions the release date as September 2.

This is the second film of director-cinematographer Manikandan after the multiple awards winning blockbuster 'Kaaka Muttai'. The film has been completed last year itself and it has been screened in International film festivals.

Vidharth who has played the lead role in the film has also produced it under his home banner. The other important characters of this 'edge of the seat' thriller have been played by Pooja Devaria, Aishwarya Rajesh, Rahman and Guru Somasundaram who has given a stellar performance as the lead character in the recent critically acclaimed super hit 'Joker'.

Isaignani Ilaiyaraja has rendered the musical score and the trailer of the film that was released a few months ago has boosted the pre-release expectations to huge levels.

Sasikumar's 'Kidaari' directed by Prasath Murugesan is the other Tamil film which has been confirmed to hit the screens on September 2. Interestingly this film has also been produced by Sasikumar who has played the lead role in it.
