Director Manikandan's second film 'Kutramey Dhandanai' has created a phenomenal pre-release buzz, mainly for three reasons- Manikandan's debut film 'Kaaka Muttai' was a rare classic which turned out to be a blockbuster, 'Kutramey Dhandanai' was also screened and appreciated in multiple film festivals before its theatrical release like its predecessor 'Kaaka Muttai and last but not least the stunning trailer of the film brilliantly made promised a nail biting thriller.

The film was completed last year and film buffs have been eagerly waiting for the release for long. Earlier this month there was an official announcement from the makers about the film's theatrical release in the form of posters announcing the release date as August 25,2016. But now the latest posters of the film say that the film will hit the screens in September.

The postponement is a slight disappointment for movie buffs who are eagerly awaiting the release of 'Kutramey Dhandanai' but we hope the makers do not make us wait for long and release the film at least withing September.

It is worth noting that Manikandan's third film 'Aandavan Kattalai' starring Vijay Sethupathi and Rithika Singh is also expected to hit the screens in September.

'Kutramey Dhandanai' stars Vidharth, Aishwarya Rajesh, Pooja Devariya, Rahman and Guru Somasundaram among others. Isaignani Ilaiyaraja has rendered the musical score.
