The footage of a couple having sex inside an official United Nations car in Israel has surfaced online, which has apparently left the UN shocked and deeply disturbed.
The people who have been captured in the video are allegedly staff members of the UN organization. The spokesman for the UN's Secretary-General, Stéphane Dujarric, reportedly said, "We are shocked and deeply disturbed by what is seen on this video, It goes against everything we stand for and having been working to achieve in terms of fighting misconduct by UN staff." Mentioning that an investigation regarding the issue was underway, Dujarric said, "We expect the process to be concluded very quickly and intend to promptly take the appropriate."
According to a news agency, the footage was shot from a building located on a busy roadside in the city of Israel's Tel Aviv. The clip shows a man sitting on the backseat of the UN car with a woman in a red dress seated on top of him. Although the face of the driver was not visible in the video, another man was spotted sitting in the front seat. The plate of the car reportedly belongs to the United Nations Truce Supervision Organisation (UNTSO). According to a report, "The UN has a strict policy against sexual misconduct and exploitation, and also bans paying for sex." It is, however, yet to be determined whether the two people were having consensual sex or involved in a sex racket.
