There is a lot of excitement for Manju Warrier's latest release Chathurmukham, a techno-horror thriller, directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. The movie was released in theatres in April but was withdrawn in view of the second wave of the pandemic. Although the film received positive responses from fans, it had to be withdrawn due to the surge in the number of cases and the subsequent lockdown. As the movie is now streaming on Over-the-Top (OTT) platform Zee5, several netizens are going in awe of the actress' never seen action avatar in the film.
Interestingly, the actress has performed a couple of stunts herself in the film. The team has now unveiled the behind-the-scenes video of the action sequences and it is clear that the bold actress had refused to get a stunt double for the film. It may be remembered that the actress had injured her ankle while performing a certain stunt on the sets of the film. However, it was not a serious injury and the actress recovered soon. Check out the video below -
Chathurmukham features Manju Warrier as a spirited single woman named Thejaswini who is obsessed with her smartphone and in taking selfies. She is a techie, who runs an agency with her bestie played by Sunny Wayne, supplying CCTVs to companies. After she buys a new phone from an anonymous brand named Liza, she gets into supernatural trouble. The movie also stars Alencier Ley Lopez, Niranjana Anoop, Babu Annur, Shyamaprasad, and Rony David in pivotal roles.
