The recent incident where a group of 22 men mercilessly raped a 11 year old hearing impaired girl for a period of 7 months has shocked the people of the nation. Even many political leaders and celebrities have strongly made their condemnation against the issue.

However a group of lawyers decided to give instant justice to the culprits. A day back, seventeen of the culprits were brought to the Chennai Mahila court and the group of lawyers got hold of two culprits and thrashed them. A video pertaining to the same has been circualted widely in the web with many congratulating the lawyers’ decision.

The general notion among every citizen would how come not any one of the culprits didn’t have a moral conscience to save the girl. It is also bothering to know about the lackadaisical nature of not only the parents but also the other members of the 300 flats who were in the gated community.

Anyways the hard question to now deal with is how to decide which lynching is false and right. For instance the right-wing might raise questions that the lynching of a cattle farmer is right then. Even amidst the support that came from all corners, many also question the position and decorum of the judiciary in this matter. What do you think?
