At a time when several coronavirus patients are in need of moderate levels of oxygen, an oxygen concentrator is said to be the right alternative to a liquid medical oxygent cylinder. An oxygen concentrator is described as a medical device that concentrates oxygen from ambient air.
Note that a conccentrator can only supply 5-10 litres of oxygen per minute. As such, it doesn’t help critically-ill coronavirus patients, who are estimated to need up to 50 litres per minute.
