Ajith Kumar who gave one of his biggest blockbuster hit film 'Thunivu' earlier this year is gearing up to shoot his next 'Vidaamuyarchi' from the third week of August. The project which saw several delays is finally back on track. Magizh Thirumeni is directing the 62nd film of Ajith with Anirudh scoring the music and and produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions.

Earlier it was reported that Trisha Krishnan was approached to play the female lead in 'Vidaamuyarchi' and negotiations were in progress. But now it is said that the team is holding talks with Tamannaah Bhatia for the role. The 33 year old actress is now trending high after her vibrant dance for the song 'Kaavaalaa' from Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' has become a huge hit.

If the deal goes through then Tamannaah will be romancing Ajith after 9 years since 'Veeram', their first film together. Set works is said to have started at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad and a new poster along with the official announcement is expected in mid August.
