Vicky Kaushal shares two new intense looks from Sardar Udham

The release of Vicky Kaushal's much anticipated biographical drama 'Sardar Udham' is right around the corner and among other things, the actor is busy promoting the project on social media. The teaser and trailer of the film are already released and they establish the theme and backdrop of the narrative really well. Vicky will play the titular role of revolutionary Shaheed Udham Singh while actor Amol Parashar will play the Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

In last couple days, Vicky shared two more pictures of himself as Udham Singh. The images capture two very crucial times in the life of the famed revolutionary. In the first one, Vicky's character can be seen as a prisoner with a dirty and bruised face and unkempt facial hair. Vicky captioned the picture as, "1931, Prison, India. Udham Singh was in prison for possession of prohibited papers "Ghadr-i-Gunj" ("Voice of Revolt"). He was released later but under constant surveillance. Soon, he escaped to Europe and never got to return to India."

In an another glimpse shared by Vicky, his character looks like someone from 'The Revenant'. He can be seen in freezing cold of Eastern Europe sporting bearskin clothes and a winter hat. Vicky captioned the post as, "1933, somewhere in the forests of eastern Europe."
