Vicky Kaushal's upcoming biopic of revolutionary Shaheed Udham Singh is being awaited since a long time now. Few days ago, Vicky Kaushal shared that dubbing of the film has completed and yesterday, the actor took to his Instagram to share a few more updates about the project. Like most of the films these days, 'Sardar Udham' is also going to take the digital route of release.

The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video and it's going to be here earlier than expected. It is going to release in October 2021. Vicky shared a poster of the film on instagram. It featured a foggy and blurred view of a London street with title and other info on the foreground. He wrote, "My heart is filled with love as we bring to you the story of a revolutionary. This October, watch #SardarUdhamOnPrime, @primevideoin."

The film is directed by Shoojit Sircar and bankrolled by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. It will follow the story of Sardar Udham Singh who travelled to London and assassinated General Dyer as a revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film will also feature Amol Parashar as Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
