Vicky Kaushal reveals 'The Immortal Ashwatthama' is not shelved

In last few years, actor Vicky Kaushal has cemented his place in the film industry. He has already given a few iconic performances and is now gearing up for the release of biographical drama, 'Sardar Udham'. Few months ago, Vicky announced his next film, a big budget sci fi flick titled 'The Immortal Ashwatthama'. The actor was supposed to play the lead in this film which would have combined science fiction with mythology.
Vicky had started his prep for the project. He started sweating it out in the gym and also learnt horse riding and archery for the part. Unfortunately, the film was reportedly shelved due to some financial issues.
However, according to latest developments, Vicky Kaushal has revealed that the film has not been shelved, its just delayed. "There will be a better time to make that film. More than disheartening, it is that thing that any film should be made at the best time for that film," he said.
The actor concluded by saying, "Every time the film is bigger than me or any individual attached to the film. So, we have to choose a time that justifies making that film. So, we are waiting for that time to come.”
