After the production of the space adventure film ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ came to a halt when Shah Rukh Khan backed out of the film in December last year, now it is gearing up its journey as the film gets a final hero for the biopic. ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’ is a biopic, which will be made on the real-life story of Rakesh Sharma, who happens to be the first Indian to travel in space. And guess who is going to essay Rakesh’s role! Well, now it’s pretty high time to spill the beans. None other than our very own Vicky Kaushal.

The producers of the film - Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur were super-impressed with the amazingly talented Vicky Kaushal in his latest film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ which was released on January 11, 2019. The film also did wonders in the box office. Interestingly, Ronnie happens to be the producer of ‘Uri’ who will be producing ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ too. The makers were initially disappointed as two Bollywood Superstars – Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan consecutively walked out of the biopic.
