Actor Vicky Kaushal has some really interesting films lined up for production and 'Sam Bahadur' is arguably the most exciting one out of them all. Based of the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the film will also star Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in pivotal roles. The latest buzz suggests that the project might go on floors by August this year.

A source close to the development told ETimes, "The team will soon start the prep needed before beginning the shoot. The actors will start preparing for their characters this month. However, the film will go on floors in August 2022 as the first schedule of the film has been lined up."

It is being specualated that 'Sam Bahadur' will focus mainly on the 1971 Indo Pak during which General Manekshaw led the Indian Forces as the Chief Of Army Staff. Sanya Malhotra will eassay the role of his wife Sillo Bode while Fatima Sana Sheikh will portray former Prime Minister Smt Indira Gandhi.
