Two more famous actors test positive for COVID-19

A day after Bollywood star Akshay Kumar tested positive for the novel coronavirus, two more actors from the industry have contracted the viral infection as well.
Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal, who are shooting for their upcoming film Mr Lele, directed by Shashank Khaitan, informed today that they have tested positive for the virus and have isolated themselves. Sharing the news, Vicky Kaushal wrote on social media, "Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe."
Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar, who is experiencing mild symptoms, said, "I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals. Please don't take the current situation lightly, even though I followed utmost precaution and care, I have contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour." Post his diagnosis, Akshay Kumar has been admitted to Mumbai's Hiranandani hospital as a precautionary measure.
