Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's wedding is the talk of the town these days. The duo will reportedly get married today at Sixth Senses Fort Barwara Hotel in Rajasthan. It is generally seen that love stories of celebrity couples start when they work together on a project, but that is not the case with Vicky and Katrina. Although, before they became the most talked about celebrity couple of 2021, Vicky and Katrina got very close to sharing a screen together.

Katrina could've starred in an important film of Vicky's career but she reportedly turned down the offer. News outlet Bollywood Life reported that director Rajkumar Hirani wanted Katrina to work in his 2018 film 'Sanju'. The actress was offered the role of Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanayata Dutt but she passed on it since it meant sharing screen with her ex boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

However, 'Sanju' proved to be rather fruitful for Vicky Kaushal who became a household name after his portrayal of Kamlesh Kanhaiyalal, Sanjay Dutt's friend who sticks with him through thick and thin.
