'Mehbooba', a love story set in the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, will hit the screens this summer. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, it has Akash Puri and Neha Shetty as the leads. Recently, the much-awaited entertainer's production works were done and its dubbing works were kickstarted in February.
The news is that the film's VFX works are currently being handled at a brisk pace under the supervision of Anil Paduri. "We have recreated war sequences that happened for real. CG is a story-telling element as far as this movie is concerned. The war episodes shot in Manali and Rohtak Pass, among others, have been enhanced with VFX. We are going with a plan of action to keep the costs under control. The support of Puri Connects has been immense. The movie is no less compared with international standards," Anil says.
Produced on Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies, it has music by Sandeep Chowtha. Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer. Editing is by Junaid Siddiqui. Action choreography is by Real Satish. Art direction is by Jani Sheik. Puri has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues.
