Its official! ‘Vettai’ is all set to launch its music on December 16. The music launch event will be held from the Anna Centenary Library at 6.30 as dusk sets in on December 16. The hero of the evening will be Yuvan Shankar Raja who has done the music for this film.

Lingusamy - Yuvan combo has given some melodious music in the past. This winning duo has joined hands once again for ‘Vettai,’ the music of which is said to be captivating by insiders. All of Lingusamy films have been musical hits, and ‘Vettai,’ with its impressive stars cast would be no exception, reveal people in the know.

‘Vettai’ sees Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul playing lead roles. Prior to the music launch a single from the album ‘Papparappa…’ will be launched on December 12. People close to this film’s unit have revealed that this single number, which is a party song will feature the lead stars in the film.

Some say that the ‘Vettai’ team is also planning to shoot a separate music video for this song which will feature Maddy, Jammy (Arya), Linguswamy, Yuvan and the lyricist of the film Na Muthukumar.

Meanwhile, UTV Motion Pictures and Thirrupathi Brothers have officially announced the release date of the film. The commercial entertainer will hit cinemas worldwide on Pongal 2012. UTV, which is distributing the film worldwide, has commenced booking the theatres for the release of the film for Pongal.

‘Vettai’ is already a much-expected film of 2012.
