Vetrimaran's Visaranai team takes the Veshti pride to Venice

Yesterday it was a prestigious moment for everyone who worked for the Tamil film Visaranai' directed by Vetrimaran. The film, based on a Tamil novel Lockup' written by Auto driver Chandran was screened in the Orizonti Category of Venice International Film Festival yesterday.

The Visaranai' team of Vetrimaran. Chandran actors Dinesh and Samuthirakani attended the screening clad in a veshti and shirt to register the pride of Tamil culture.

Audience and critics from various parts of the world who watched the film yesterday were so impressed with it and they gave a standing ovation after the film was over.

Visaranai' stars Dinesh. Anandhi and Samuthirankani in important roles. The film is expected to release in theatres soon.
