We all know that the National Award-winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran has been working on his upcoming film 'Viduthalai' for a long time now. Starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, Viduthalai is a movie based on writer Jeyamohan's short story named 'Thunaivan'.
Now, the latest reports suggest that Vetrimaaran has wrapped up the filming of 'Viduthalai'. The shooting began in 2020, and the director has been filming for the film steadily across forest locations in Tamil Nadu. The production went longer than expected as the team decided to make the film in two parts. Reportedly, the shooting for both parts was wrapped on Tuesday.
An official announcement regarding the shooting completion is expected soon. Vetri Maaran will be focusing on the post-production work of Viduthalai and the film's first part is expected to be released in theatres on January 26. The second part will be released quickly as the director didn't want fans to wait for a long time.
