Vetrimaaran's next after super hit 'Asuran' becomes official

Vetrimaaaran belongs to the rare breed of filmmakers who has struck a balance between art and commerce. He has given five consecutive super hit films 'Polladhavan', 'Aadukalam', 'Visaranai', 'Vada Chennai' and 'Asuran' that have also recieved high critical recognition in India and abroad.
Vetrimaaran's recent outing 'Asuran' starring his constant collaborator Dhanush has touched the magical 100 Crore mark at the global box office and there is huge expectations as to what would be his next venture.
It has just been officially announced that Elred Kumar of R.S. Infotainment has signed Vetrimaaran to helm his next movie. We have already reported that Soori will play the lead and the story is based on the late Na. Muthukumar's poem 'Pattamboochi Virpavan'. The rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
