Ace director Vetrimaaran is now directing Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in 'Viduthalai Part 2.' Following the completion of this project, he is set to work on the Suriya starrer 'Vaadivaasal.' Meanwhile, he is producing several films under his banner, Grassroot Film Company. He is bankrolling a new movie starring Vemal.
We previously reported that the film is titled 'MaPoSi,' featuring Vemal in the role of a teacher in the village of Mangollai, where education is considered taboo due to superstitions. The film, written and directed by Bose Venkat, derives its title from the name Mangollai Ponnarasan Sivagnanam. This much-anticipated movie explores the challenges and triumphs of bringing education to a place steeped in traditional beliefs.
The latest news is that 'MaPoSi' has been renamed 'Sir'. The makers have re-launched the first-look poster with the new title, creating a buzz on the internet. The production house issued an official statement regarding the change, and the film's director announced the new title with a special message to the fans in a video. The title change was made to better reflect the content of the movie.
This news has gone viral on the internet. 'Sir' stars Vemal, Chaya Devi, Saravanan, and many others. Co-produced by Siraj of SSS Pictures, this upcoming film features music by Siddhu Kumar, cinematography by Iniyan J Harris, editing by Sreejith Sarang, and art direction by Bharathi Buddhar.
