Ace filmmaker Vetrimaaran is one of the most respected in India and worldwide for his original stories that mostly deals with the downtrodden people. He is now fully focussed on his current film 'Viduthalai' starring Soori in the lead role with Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Vijay Sethupathi in the supporting cast.

Vetrimaaran has recently bought a high speed BMW super bike and photos and video shot during the purchase have gone viral on social media. It is said that the swank vehicle costs a whopping rupees seventeen lakhs.

On the movie front Vetrimaaran after 'Viduthalai' will move on to Suriya's 'Vaadivasal' and is also said to be in talks for projects starring Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and Vijay. He is also involved in a couple of web series and producing films including 'Adhigaaram' starring Raghava Lawrence.
