Vetrimaaran apologizes for Vada Chennai first night scene

Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai' directed by Vetrimaaran that released on October 17th has given the talented hero his best opening ever and the film has also gained high critical acclaim. However some sections have been complaining about the excessive use of cuss words as well as depicting the entire North Madras as a crime ridden territory.

Director Vetrimaaran has released a video in which he has stated that various fisher community organizations had shown their dissent at some of the scenes in the film and especially the first night scence between Ameer and Andrea shot on a fishing boat at mid sea. He has made it clear that his intention was not to misrepresent the area people and the second and third part of the film will deal with the problems faced by them and how they emerge victorious from them.

Vetrimaaran has also assured that the controversial first night scene between Ameer and Andrea will be removed from 'Vada Chennai' which would take around seven to ten working days as it has to be re-censored.
