Saturday was a doomsday for Indian cinema, as the iconic actor Sridevi passed away at Dubai due to a heart attack. She was there to attend nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding. And entire nation in huge shock and mourns her sad demise. Sridevi had acted in Malayalam films and very popular among the Malayali audience. And Mollywood conveyed their condolences to her untimely death. The big names like Mohanlal, Mammootty, Manju Warrier, Nivin Pauly, Tovino Thomas and many others mourned her death in social media.
She made an entry in Malayalam as a child actor with the movie Kumara Sambhavam in 1969. She also acted in many Malayalam movies like Theerthayathra, Aalinganam, Aa Nimisham, and Satyavan Savithri.
A versatile actor, Sridevi made her Bollywood debut in 1978 with ‘Solva Sawan’. Her latest film was ‘Mom’ in which she acted with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna.And She also plays a special appearance in megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming project ‘Zero’.
