Actor Suriya who was last seen in the political entertainer NGK directed by Selvaraghavan will be seen next in the action thriller Kaappaan directed by KV Anand. This movie is their third movie together after Ayan and Maattrraan and is announced to release on September 20.

After Kaappaan, Suriya will next be seen in Soorarai Pottru which is said to be the biopic of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath. This movie is directed by Sudha Kongara, who had earlier made Madhavan, Ritika Singh starrer Irudhi Suttru and is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment.

Soorarai Pottru also stars Sarvam Thaala Mayam actress Aparna Balamurali, Mohan Babu and Paresh Rawal, and the latest addition to the cast is veteran actress Urvasi. The actress was seen playing supporting roles recently in movies like Magalir Mattum and Dhillukku Dhuddu 2.
