Sathyaraj is one of the senior actors in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. He has appeared in around 240 films including his works in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Now, the sad news is that Sathyaraj has lost a family member. His mother, Nathambal Kalingarayar, passed away due to old age at the age of 94. She passed away today (Friday) at 4 pm in Coimbatore. Nathambal also has two daughters Kalpana Mandradiar and Roopa Senapathy. Sathyaraj, who was shooting in Hyderabad, rushed to Kovi after hearing the news.

The film fraternity is offering their condolences to the veteran actor now. The information regarding the funeral ceremony is still unknown. Details are awaited. On the work front, he will be seen in the upcoming film 'Weapon,' co-starring Vasanth Ravi. He also has several Telugu and Malayalam movies in his pipeline.
