RS Shivaji is a veteran comedian and character actor in Tamil cinema. He was the son of actor and producer MR Santhanam and his brother is famous director and actor Santhana Bharathi. It is reported that RS Shivaji passed away today in Chennai at the age of 66.
Shivaji made his debut with the 1981 film 'Panneer Pushpangal'. His recent movies include: 'Kolamaavu Kokila', 'Soorarai Pottru', 'Dhaarala Prabhu' and 'Gargi'. He is known for his collaborations with Kamal Haasan and Raaj Kamal Films International, working as an assistant director, sound designer and line producer on film projects.
Shivaji was last seen in Yogi Babu-starrer 'Lucky Man', which was released on Friday, September 1. The film fraternity and fans are expressing their condolences over the veteran actor's death. This news is now doing rounds on the internet.
