Young Rebel star Prabhas is currently shooting for his upcoming movie 'Salaar', a monumental action thriller. This project is helmed by Prashant Neel, who attained global attention for his previous work KGF Chapter 1. Prashant Neel is also the writer and director of the most anticipated KGF Chapter 2.

Salaar is financed by Homable Films, which also bankrolled KGF Franchise. Shruti Haasan is romancing the Baahubali star in this high-octane project. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu languages, the movie will also be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.

Ravi Basrur will score music while cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda. Principal photography of the film commenced in January 2021 at Telangana, and Salaar is scheduled to be released theatrically on 14 April 2022. Prabhas is done with the shoot of Radhe Shyam and the actor is juggling between Salaar and Adipurush for now.

Currently, the filming of Salaar is taking place in Hyderabad. Prabhas and Shruti are shooting some romantic episodes in this high-voltage action movie. The film will have a bunch of renowned actors in crucial roles. The latest news is that veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is roped in for a crucial role in Salaar.

Jagapathi Babu nodded for this script a while ago and joined the sets of Salaar recently. The entire technical team of KGF is working for this flick and it carries sky-high expectations owing to the terrific look of Prabhas.
