Veteran Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah has been diagnosed with pneumonia. The 70-year-old actor is said to have been hospitalized for the past two days and is under medical supervision. "He was brought in for Pneumonia. There was a patch found in his lungs and it became necessary for him to be hospitalized immediately," the actor's manager said in an interview. As per the latest reports, his condition is stable, and is responding well to the treatment. The news comes in as Bollywood mourns the death of actress Mandira Bedi's husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal, who passed away in the early hours today following a cardiac arrest. He was 49.
On the work front, Naseeruddin Shah will next be seen in the upcoming films "Maarrich" directed by debutant Dhruv Lather and Rasika Dugal's "The Miniaturist Of Junagadh".
