Veteran actor turns emotional: “My wife is alive today because of Rajini sir.”

Superstar Rajinikanth is the biggest cinema icon in the country. He is one of the very few celebrities from the South to be invited to Anant Ambani's pre-wedding bash. Recently, a video of a 'Lal Salaam' actor cherishing Rajini's help for his wife's treatment is doing rounds on the internet.

Livingston is a highly acclaimed veteran actor. In a recent interview, he talked about working with Superstar Rajinikanth after a long time in 'Lal Salaam'. He said that Thalaivar offered help like a brother to me and turned very emotional. This moved the fans very much. Livingston said, "My wife suffered a heart attack a few days ago. Me and my children devastated when we learnt that the medical expenses would cost 15 lakhs.

We were all upset because we already had a lot of debt and could not take any more loans. I was shooting for 'Lal Salaam' at that time. I shared this situation with some assistant directors only. But I don't know how Superstar Rajinikanth learnt about it. He called me immediately.

He inquired about my wife's health and medical expenses. He offered me money and told me to inform him if I needed more amount. As I was hesitant to take it, he asked me whether I wouldn't take it if my brother offered it. I was very emotional when he said that. My wife is alive today because of Rajini sir."
