Venomous snake found in flight passengers bag

Sunil of Palakkad was scheduled to fly to Abu Dhabi in the Air India Express flight. When his baggage was checked at the airport a slithering snake was found in it and the passenger was immediately handed over to the authorities. It was found that it was a venomous Indian Krite snake and Sunil was grilled how it came to be in his bag.

Sunil explained that he did not know about it and the only explanation was that he bought a bag of Chinese potatoes and the reptile could have gotten into it. The cops did not file a case as they were satisfied that Sunil had no malicious intent and was let go while the snake was handed over to the forest department.
