Vennela 1 1/2 in post-production stage

'Vennela' Kishore's directorial debut Vennela 1 1/2 is currently in the post-production stage. Starring Chaitanya Krishna and Monal Gujjar in the roles of hero and heroine, the film is produced by Gr8 Productions.

It was declared long back that the film will be released in February. The film is inspired by Vennela. The director says that he has borrowed one half of the story from Vennela and the other half is written by him. He says that the film has been made in such a way as to be a full-on entertainer. The songs will be released sometime later this month.

Brahmanandam, Raghubabu, Shravan, Giridhar, Master Bharath, Tagubothu Ramesh and others are part of the film. Music-directed by Sunil Kashyap of It’s My Love Story fame, it has cinematography by Suresh Bhargav.
