It's known that, post Babu Bangaram, Venkatesh's next film to go on the floors will be the remake of Madhavan-starrer Irudhi Suttru (Saala Khadoos in Hindi). To be directed by Sudha Kongaru, the movie will have Ritika Singh reprising her own part from the original.

The news is that the film's music sittings have just begun. Music-directed by Santosh Narayanan of Kabali fame, it is co-produced by D Suresh Babu. Ramajogayya Sastry has penned the first song to be recorded.

The sports drama will go on the floors in September. Efforts are on to shoot the first schedule in Vizag.

While Venky is learnt to be learning the ropes with respect to kick-boxing, he will soon also start growing a beard for the role. He is not going to sport six pack abs, but will look fit enough for the character.
