Venky might dare but not Balayya

As per the latest buzz in the film industry, 'Venky Mama' might challenge 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramloo'. The Venkatesh-Naga Chaitanya film could release on January 11, 2020. The Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun films are scheduled to release a day later.

The unofficial news was quite unexpected. "Many thought that 'Venky Mama' was up for a grand December release. But the latest buzz comes as a surprise," a source comments.

'Venky Mama' might be apt for a Sankranthi release (given its subject) but director Bobby and the film's two heroes have a Herculean task for sure. Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' too will be a competition.

What's more surprising, Balakrishna's film won't be there for Sankranthi. "For the first time in a long, long time, the Nandamuri hero's film is set to come in December. It might be a December 20th release," a report suggests. The film has been directed by KS Ravikumar.
