After Nag playing ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Ramadasu’, now is the turn of Venkatesh to play a spiritual icon and that is Swami Vivekananda.

Yes, Venky has agreed to do a project on Swami Vivekananda but not on the big screen. The new project, to be directed by Neelakanta of ‘Missamma’ fame will be telecasted as a series on TV. Talking about Swami Vivekananda, producer Suresh Babu said that a film on the life of Swami Vivekananda cannot convey enough information and hence a television series has been planned. Sources say that the series was being planned for a couple of months now.

As for director Neelakanta, his style of narrating the story is unique and he would do a great job as a director. Venkatesh will be trying something new in his career and would want to create an impact. Venky has already said yes for the multi-starrer with Pawan Kalyan and now a tele-serial

Known to all Venky is spiritually inclined and a movie on a spiritual icon such as Vivekananda, Venky would hope to give his best shot!
