The pre-release event of 'Maharshi' was held on Wednesday evening. Venkatesh and Vijay Deverakonda graced the occasion as guests.

Venkatesh began his speech by mentioning the first line in the 'Maharshi' Trailer. "This is Mahesh's 25th film but he looks like he is just 25. No matter what is the camera angle, he looks quite handsome. That's why he has got a statue of his own at Madame Tussauds. 'Maharshi' is a prestigious film for Mahesh. I wish all the technicians who have worked on the film all the best," Venky said. He wished that 'Maharshi' rewrites records much like 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'.

Vijay Deverakonda said, "I have come here to enjoy the event like you all. This movie is releasing on May 9, which is my birthday. It's now my responsibility that this film becomes a big hit. Vamshi (Paidipally) anna has been an absolute darling. He has always been there to give me the right guidance. I am looking forward to the release date as a fan and as an actor. When 'Pelli Choopulu' released, I was told Mahesh sir has tweeted about the movie. When I read my name in his tweet, I was blown away."
