Venky denies dual role film, all praise for Happy Days

Venkatesh has finally confirmed that he is not doing the remake of the film Deva in Telugu. There were rumours that he could be doing the film as the film will now be made directly in Telugu, instead of being dubbed.

Given the fate of the film in Tamil Nadu, naturally, Venkatesh is not keen on touching it. He has also denied doing a film based on Vivekananda.

He said he didn't want to give any false hopes to the technicians in the industry by saying he was considering them. But he said he was keen to do a film with Shekhar Kammula.

He confessed that it made him remember his college days in the US and said that the way Shekhar had created the six characters really touched him.

It was some while before he even ventured to change the topic. He even made no bones about having said the same to the director himself.

So, one hopes to see him doing a film with Kammula soon!
