It's known that Victory Venkatesh will be doing the Telugu remake of 'De De Pyaar De', the Hindi-language rom-com starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh. The 'F2' star will be reprising Devgn's role in the remake.

The news is that Sriwass, who directed Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Dictator' in 2016, will wield the megaphone for the untitled remake. Last year, his high-budgeted 'Saakshyam' bombed at the box-office. The director had a hit in 2014 with Gopichand's 'Loukyam'. It has to be seen whether he will make a comeback with the remake.

As per speculative reports, Tabu will reprise her role in the original in the remake. The remake will be completely overhauled to suit Telugu nativity. At least 80 percent of the scenes won't be the way they are in the original.
