The much awaited teaser of Suriya's 'Masss' has just been released and what we get is a collage of intriguing cuts from Praveen K.L. that escalate the expectations for the Venkat Prabhu sixer to even greater heights. In the opening, Suriya in his baritone tells somebody "Naan Ippudi thirumbi varuvennu ethirpakala illa?" which hints to the viewer that he (maybe) returns from the dead, confirming initial speculations that Masss` is a supernatural thriller. Yuvan Shankar Raja`s BGM adds great value to the experience.

On closer look we can see that Suriya is making a new fashion statement by wearing a safety pin as a ear stud. We can also see Suriya wearing a Quebec Police Badge (French Canada) confirming that Masss` is truly international. Shots of two different fight scenes thrillingly choreographed by Stunt Silva show Suriya in full form doing gravity defying stunts. The now famous shot of Suriya and Nayanthara radiates with love and finally the chilling shots of Suriya casually walking on the walls and ceiling and then revealing the werewolf teeth is simply out of this world. R.D. Rajashekar`s camera and Vidhesh`s art ,work hand in hand to give the desired effect in every frame.

There is also a Thala connection as Suriya mouths Ajith`s famous "Now it`s my f….Game". On the whole the teaser is the worthy tip of the iceberg and director Venkat Prabhu has ensured that the next fortnight is going to be a nail biting wait for fans when finally Masss` releases on the 15th of May.
