'Rana Naidu' has officially completed its shoot. The web series, to be streamed on Netflix later this year, will have to complete its post-production works before it is released.
On Monday, Netflix said that we are one step closer to watching the favourites (Venky and Rana) on screen. The uncle and his nephew are playing negative roles in the series. "Some news to make your Monday better: IT’S A WRAP ON THE SETS OF RANA NAIDU AND WE’RE ONE STEP CLOSER TO SEEING OUR FAVES ON SCREEN (sic)," Netflix wrote on Twitter.
Most of the star cast barring the duo is from non-Telugu languages, mostly from the Hindi entertainment world. Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Suchitra Pillai, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi and Rajesh Jais are the names.
Directors Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma have adapted the American show Ray Donovan. Aaron Sunder of Locomotive Global Inc has produced the multi-lingual series.
In a recent interview, the 'F3' actor said that he is very excited about the series, especially his role. The story is set in Mumbai.
