The fans of Venkatesh have long waited for him to do a film with Rana Daggubati. In fact, the 'Baahubali' actor recently hinted that he and his uncle would be teaming up for a movie in 2022 or so.

Meanwhile, the duo's collaboration has taken an unexpected form. Reportedly, they will be doing not a film but a web show together. If some unverified reports are anything to go by, Rana and Venkatesh will act in a web series commissioned by Netflix.

This sounds way too interesting. However, in the absence of any official word, nothing can be presumed. In his recent interviews before the release of 'Narappa', Venky said that he is yet to finalize new projects. He awaits the release of 'Drushyam 2' on an OTT platform later this year. 'F3' with Anil Ravipudi will also keep him busy for the next few months. Rana has films lined up back to back. It has to be seen if they have time for a web series in the near future.

Rana awaits the release of 'Virata Parvam' later this year. Directed by Venu Udugulu, it has Sai Pallavi as the heroine. He is doing Pawan Kalyan's film with Saagar K Chandra as well.
